Anamorphic Lenses

I have just learned of isomorphic lenses, and the first thing I wondered was if there were any chinese lenses that just mount on top of a typical lens. Anyone have an idea ?

What do you mean by a "typical lens"? If I remember correctly, SLR Magic make anomorphic converters for the Fujinon MK Cine Zooms.

There are no commonly available or viable options to achieve a true anamorphic look via a screw on filter in front of mainstream consumer lenses. There are however anamorphic look filters which aim to imitate the flaring and bokeh of anamorphic video though none deliver true stretched image anamorphic.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.
