Do I require to update my bios? BSOD problems

When I'm starting my pc and go into my bios settings, disabling XMP profile and reboot, my pc gives all kinds of different BSOD (Blue screen of death) errors, the commonly one is:

- WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR"
- DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

(I did system factory reset, run a virus scan program to check, checking the command prompt etc)
Nofthing solve the issue so far...

- I have an Asus ROG Maximus XI Z390 motherboard (at December, 2018)

I haven't installed the BIOS 0602 for my current Bios/Mobo yet..mabye it will fix all my problems? And how do I install it? I'm afraid to ruin something else or system... ?

Another note is, when I have XMP enabled, I get no BSOD or any problem whatsoever...do I have to update my Bios? I really don't know what else might be wrong in the normal settings...

Need some help please :)

Thank you in advance,

Is there a specific reason you would need XMP off?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

There is actually no specific reason, I was wondering why I get blue screens of death, when I'm trying to run my computer with XMP turned off...

I really wonder if I need to update my Bios/Motherboard I need some help...

It is a simple procedure.

Download the file into a blank USB stick, leave it on, restart the PC and enter bios.

When entering Bios, there must be an option "Flash" bios, select it and select the stick that the file is on and let it update (do no turn on the pc at that moment).

Its always a good idea to update your BIOS (google the version to make sure it won't brick your board). A lot of modern boards can actually download the update while you are in the BIOS, but you can always download to the root directory of a flash drive or hard drive and manually select the file to flash. Procedure is quick and easy, quite painless, really.

the new bios version file looks like this, drag the file into an empty usb stick?

I should put it somehow on a USB stick? and then restart and go into bios?

Unzip the file in to the usb, and follow the instruction above
