Hard Drives Disappear When I Overclock

BartJY

Hey Folks,

My sata hard drives disappear when I overclock? It happens on my Asus B450-F and Ryzen 5 2600. How do I overclock and still have the hard drives?

Thanks

Bart

I'm using the EZ Tuning Wizard in the UEFI, and setting it to gaming....

Once it reboots, no hard drives.......

Mystery solved.

There are two settings for the EZ Tuning, daily computing and gaming/media editing. Set it to gaming/media editing and the hard drives disappear. I guess the engineers figure the gamer is going to use NVME only so they ignore the hard drives, hence they disappear. I hope regular SSDs are visible. But when set to daily computing all the drives are visible. I'm not happy with the program. I want the hard drives to be visible in gaming/editing mode as well......

Now the question is, if I set the parameters myself and not rely on EZ Tuning, can I configure it to show the hard drives when over clocked?
