LapTop CPU "H" VS "HQ" Is it matter?!

Hey guys,

I know that the HQ is a Quad core, while H is a 6 core.

But, I wonder, does it really that matter, when you browse on the web, do some Office work, or video editing, 3D..??

video editing

6 cores is more likely to benefit you here

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

'H' vs 'HQ' just signifies that it is a "high performance" mobile chip with graphics on the CPU. (Iris Pro, Intel HD6000, etc.) The 'Q' just means that it's a quad core. There's nothing special about HQ vs H CPUs.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Nope, far from just that. CPUs with Iris Pro graphics dont necessarily have H in the name either.

If you consider old stuff there's the dual core 4210H, but whatever.

They are either 'H' or 'U' versions with iris pro usually. 'H' for higher performance CPUs with more powerful iGPUs, 'U' for ultrabooks or lower power consumption with varying iGPUs.

I'll edit my original post, 'H' is technically high power mobile CPUs with iGPUs (for laptops), U' is usually ultrabooks or lower power consumption laptops with varying iGPUs.
