Amazon Rekognition (facial recognition) with Raspberry Pi Camera Setup?

IReallyAmBatman

Anyone bothered trying something like what is in the link below? It's free to sign up with Amazon Rekognition (up to 5k API calls). Linus did a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7p5YEOrlSc) on making your own camera which I followed but I was really disappointed that facial recognition wasn't a thing for it. Wondering if it can be paired with the amazon rekognition services to get facial recognition up and running... ie, if it's a 'white listed' face.. do nothing. Else, email user. I would MUCH prefer to keep working with Motioneyeos instead of Pi-Timolo, which I don't know anything about.
