Nvidia pci/device ID resistors still a thing?

I found these five resistors near the pci-e slots while looking at pcb images, some cards have them, some do not. Are these part of the pci ID system?

Know the thread is old but im willing to make the modifications if some one can get me the values of the Gigabyte Windforce 6gb  

Although i dont think those resistors you're referencing are the correct ones.
