Charolette Donuis, its the only two I have for now. I have a few more I'm waiting on getting cheaper in the west before I buy.

And thanks. Just two ikea desks put together. Too many actual corner desks didn't fit my wants and needs.

Ah.  Thank you for the name.

What do these do better than other desks you were looking at?

When an unsynchronized one comes out that I like I'll dump the big bux on that.

Unsynchronized?

I had to google the name.  She's from Infinite Stratos?    I have the first season (I think there's a second but I don't have it) but backlog of anime so I haven't watched it yet.

Currently I'm planning to buy Tokyo Ghoul and one other series just as soon as I can remember what the heck it was that I was thinking of.  ?

Most desks were designed for you to sit in the middle instead of the side and have unnecessarily big legs.

You gotta pretty much watch Kill la Kill to know what synchronized and unsynchronized is, but basically its her in her normal form.

And yeah, shes from that... and really the only sane girl in the show.

Why the "..." about the show?

Sanity *can* be overrated.  Some people need to relax mentally a bit so they don't stress themselves out all the time you know what I mean?  ?

How mush did you pay for the 4770K?   New or used?  Where'd you get it from?

(I'm considering upgrading from the G3258 in my secondary desktop if I can find a suitable CPU for a good price.)

I'd looked in your sig and it lists a "lucifer" is of course not this cooler so I got confused.

If I'm right that it's a 120mm fan on that then that's pretty cool.  I've only seen tower coolers with a 120mm fan on the side not on top.

I paid $320 CAD ($240 USD). Was the lowest at the time on ebay. It was a used part.

Yep, the Gabriel cooler uses a 120mm fan. I didn't like the slim fan that came with the cooler because it's a blue-grey colour, so I used the one you saw in the pic. (TF120).

This is my setup now (in sig), with the massive Lucifer v2 cooler. ;)

Then how come they get torn up by Gundams?   ?

Most of the Zeon mobile suits are mass produced crap.  It was only select special variants like those used by Char that could even stand a chance against RX78-2.

I will admit some of the Zeon suits are cool.  Even that pos green Zaku looks cool and those purple ones that I forget the name of..

Compared to the Feds mass produced crap? Zeon suits are stronger and over power fed suits greatly. You're saying you'd rather have a gm vs a gouf or zaku2?

In the proper hands a GM can be pretty effective.  Or at least in my hands playing a few old Gundam games it can.  ?

Yea an ace could but the feds don't have many compared to the zeon. The suits are just stronger anyway. 8th ms team, the gundams were slaughtered. But in tall the other shows they are the main characters so they cant destroy them. 8th ms, war in the pocket and stardust memories shown how bad the feds were. That timeline represented the wars the best. Basically the us vs the Nazi's. Everything is small and weak and can only win via numbers. Best series of the genre.

So what ones did you watch that could possibly make you think the feds have better suits? kissanime has quite a bit.

How do you adjust the LEDs brightness/turn them off?

Cools the 4770K passively at idle and low loads (browsing etc.). That's why I picked it. :)

LED's are a Deepcool RGB kit. Comes with 2x 30cm RGB LED strips, control module (powered by molex) and remote to control colour, brightness, different transitions and on/off.

This kit:  http://deepcool.com/product/dcoolingaccessory/2014-07/12_922.shtml  And it was only $15!

@MEC-777 How loud is your pc? with all those fans :D

At idle and normal use; silent. While gaming; like a gentle woosh. The bottom fans don't come on until the GPU hits 55*C and the top ones at ~67*C and they don't ramp up to more than 40%. ;)

I'll do a video to show it all working soon.

That's why I prefer hardware fan controllers that are separate from the system.
