Here's my rig. I only have a couple of changes left to do to it.

(a) I'm replacing the front case fans with two Cooler Master MF200R ARGB fans.

(b) I'm replacing the CLC with a Corsair H150i Platinum.

I finished the CLC and front case fan swap. It only took ten days for the new ARGB MF200Rs to arrive from Hong Kong. Temps immediately went down by 20C. I guess the higher-speed 140mm fans do matter. Here are two pictures that aren't complete rubbish. 😁👍

YAUA (Yet Another Update Again).  I re-did the arrangement with sharing my desk with my mother so I can get my video editing done since we both have dual monitors.  So I put my desk back into a corner desk and instead extended it on the left with another full desk for her to have her own area, like a kind of cubicle arrangement.  This is now my space.  Both monitors are calibrated, but the monitor on the right, the Dell E228WFP will be replaced with another Acer B6 series like on the left, it's CCFL backlight is very tired and the colors aren't a 100% match.

I had to look at the picture three times before I realized those JBLs were on a highly reflective surface and not on weird looking stands that looked a lot like inverted JBLs. This old age business is for the birds.  🥴

i finally cleaned up my setup a bit.

IMG_20200417_105237.thumb.jpg.76ad6d6b039c407e6381c966933133bf.jpg

things that changed:

The keyboard is now wireless, i transplanted the PCB from a Anne Pro 2 into the case andsoldered in my own switches (kailh box blacks)

i ditched the Samsung 4K monitor for a 32" HP OMEN display at 1440P. the lower res is something to get used to, but the higher refreshrate is nothing but awesome.

i got a RODE NT-USB mic in stead of a headset, makes gaming so much better imo.

EDIT: it looks like the monitor is hanging to one side, but it's actually the board above it that's crooked. still need to fix that sometime.

Lol, yeah. I switched to Android in 2015 and loved it for themes part. BUT, had an issue with a couple phones and got sick of not having any support. Samsung telling me to go to Best Buy who told me to go to AT&T who told me to talk to Samsung... Switched back to iPhone last year and am loving it. They got way better in my four years off. Then traded in my Samung tablet for an iPad which is just flat out better. No contest. The my ThinkPad died do I decided to get a MacBook Pro again. I am so happy with it. Plus I have Boot Campwith Windows 10 installed. Works great and is a great PC laptop when I need it to be. Also, Windows 10 sucks! I will always have a gaming PC and I am using it to work from home so it's great. But having an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV is pretty great. Everything works so well together and after switching back, I forgot how easy and awesome it was. Still love Android phones and there are some great ones, same goes with Windows laptops. If I had to switch back from Apple. I would be totally fine and I'm sure I would love something like a 1+ phone and a XPS 13. Still nothing better than an iPad though so I probably wouldn't have a tablet. And Android wearables suck too. Except some of the Samsung ones, but I don;'t really like Samsung phones anymore.

Hello everyone. I wonder if you guys can give me some advice on my shoddy if not borderline outrageous build.

Asus realtek p6t LGA1366 Motherboard.

Intel core i7 920 2.6ghz CPU.

Crucial 16 gigs of DDR3 dual channel.

GTX 1050 ti 4 gigs.

1TB Hardrive

256GB SSD

Corsair TX750w power supply.

Everything is at a stock tune, with stock cooling fans and heatsinks etc.

Now my average fps in games (rough average).

Rocket League: 160

CounterStrike: 120

Apex Legends: 70 (with decreased res)

GTA 5: 50

Cod Warzone: 50

Battlefield 1: 45

Rust: 40 (lowest possible graphics)

H1Z1: >=40

PUBG: >=40

Just to give you an idea of what we're working with. I'm looking to upgrade my cpu to achieve high 80s in the lower fps ranged games. However i then thought i should buy a new motherboard for ddr4 compatibility.

Have come to abit of a stalemate on what to buy, anyone have any suggestion. If you need anymore info on the build drop a message.

Thanks.

the only thing that's really keeping me from going Apple at this point is the horror storeis about the buildquality of some of teir stuff and tha fact that you can't really unlock a iPhone like you can an Android. I have my cheapo Xiaomi Mi 9T rooted and ad-free. no ads on apps, websites or any other platform, and it's a dream.
