Vivo 'Smart' case

ASRock B450M MB

Ryzen 5 2400G overclocked to 3.8 ghz on all 4 cores

Gigabyte RX 570 4 GB GPU overclocked to 1380 mhz

8 GB G. Skill 3200mhz RAM

Gigabyte 240GB SSD - boot drive, also used for very frequently played VR games

Seagate Barracuda 500 GB HDD - used for other games and utilities

Seagate 1 TB external HDD - used for 'legally' downloaded TV shows to stream via Plex 😃

HP 27" 1080 LED monitor for primary display

Very old Acer 19" for secondary display

Oculus Rift (1st gen)

Netgear Powerline 1000 ethernet adapter (works much better than wifi in my house)

raspberry pi zero for NES, SNES, Genesis retro gaming

Roku 3 express

Insignia 32" (I think) TV for tinkering with rpi, watching Netflix and OTA TV

Kind of ghetto TV backlighting my boss gave to me for free

Old mini fridge (I know it's ugly, but it's pretty awesome being able to sit and grab a cold drink!)

Amazingly, the single USB 2.0 port on the back of the TV is able to power a Roku and the backlighting using a 4 port USB hub. I also used a cardboard box and zip ties to tidy up the wires a bit under the desk. It was a real mess before this!

In the future I'd like a 'L' shaped desk so I have a workspace for tinkering with rpi's. The room itself is ~12'x12' so it gets toasty, especially while playing VR with the door shut (so my dogs can't annoy me)

Just kidding! The T.V. backlighting was something I always wanted 😅 I had totally forgotten about it.

Thanks!  I did.  One of them is a northern pike at 36" and one walleye at 30."  Ive caught much larger pike since, but these mounts are like 15 years old.  Believe it or not, they were both caught from shore in a wildlife park in Wisconsin.

First of all, beautiful rigs, guys! It's so nice to see so many people with good taste in aesthetics and with the enthusiasm to build their own PCs. The community is alive and well!

So, I've finally finished my 2019 build! It's such a relief to have everything put together. The only part that was missing was an LED strip, and I bought this really nice Cooler Master Masteraccessory LED strip (more like a bar) with RGB functions and whatnot.

Now all that's left to do is get me a new desk, the reason why I didn't take pictures of the whole setup.

Specs:

MSI B450 Tomahawk

Ryzen 5 3600

16GB HyperX Fury RAM

Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro

Kingston A400 480GB SSD + Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Corsair CX600 PSU

Aerocool Cylon case

3x Cooler Master Masterair 120mm fans

This is my current get-up. Still in its premature stages, but we'll get there.

As you can see in the last pic on the far left my newly purchased foam pads. Not sure how I'll work with them (probably not well) but we'll get an update some other time.

Cheers man, much appreciated! I haven't decided what RGB settings I want to go with yet, but the rainbow looks okay for now. In the future I really want to put the PC up on the desk. Unfortunately I can't do it atm because there's a wall mounted heater right underneath that would be blowing directly onto my PC if I put it there. Maybe once it gets hotter in the year I will move it.

So cool! Especially the leds on the desk edge and the wall mounted monitor.

What's that walky talky looking thing underneath your monitor on the right? And what do you mean by your "ward" loves it?

Hey thanks a lot my ninja. the device you are seeing is my short wave radio that was charging . It sits in my GO bag normally.. er my bad !! a rucksack 511 prepared in advance to leave at a moments notice and capable of proving me with shelter, food, fire, water in any terrain.
My ward ... when my sister died I became my handicapped nieces guardian.. she is now legally my ward :)
Those lights are cheap when you consider just how bad ass they really are...NO bulb.... run your finger down the strip..all rubber!!!   OUCH to the heater setup . let me know if you decide to stop by Texas

We all start at different levels .. but share the love of building and modding. remind me one day to tell you about my rig that ran on a cassette and parts from radio shack ( a store most likely before your time) it was sorta kinda like amazon.... *prepare yourself* but you had to leave your house and drive to their physical location. If you need to take a moment , I understand!

I think it is totally righteous and bad-ass the way you have your breaker box right there ... THAT is some squared away forward thinking soldier

19 well all right little brother!!  My Ninja !!!!

You put a smile on my face and a spring in my step....oh wait that's my alligator cowboy boots.... their 20 years old

Seriously , I got nothing but respect for an up and comer like yourself. given that most of your generation are completely useless, whiny ass, marshmallows ( was going to say snowflake) but didn't want to bring a political slant to the conversation :)

You and I can be friends. as I am literally sitting here boarding and bagging some comics , checking my crypto/Bitcoin  prices for the day, and deciding what game to play tonight.
