The reservoir has moved from the motherboard wall to being mounted to the front radiator. The top radiator was replaced with a 240mm radiator because this one has 6 ports and I can finally properly get all the air out of the loop.

The pump was supposed to be joined with the bottom of the reservoir with a mount made specifically for that reservoir, but apparently MMRS products are complete shit, although their fittings have held up remarkably well. I have very little corrosion happening as far as I can tell, and each of them (the chain gun fittings) are allegedly silver coated to prevent algae growth.

Now if only I could complete my custom made extensions for the 24 pin, and GPU power, I could get this thing looking how I want.

I originally wanted to go with an industrial/mad-scientist theme.

Problem is, I've not got much experience and feel like I can't ever quite get things perfect. Honestly I need to switch reservoirs, get a decent pump mount, get lots of fittings, etc.

That and I need to get new radiators. My 480mm has a bunch of stripped out threads for the mounts. It's sturdy for now, but I'm certain if I ever remove it, I won't be able to reuse it. I also need to figure out a different mounting solution for the radiator to begin with. The way the caselabs mount works is kind of dumb, at least for the front of the case. Sooner or later I'm going to try the bottom side mount.

what radiators? if (using M3), tap holes to 6-32/M4. if 6-32 tap to M4. if M4 replace radiator or have automotive radiator shop braze the holes and retap.

Black Ice GTR 480mm. Not sure if it's the new nemesis type or not.

I know that I do need to remove it and clean it out. The extra thick 120 I was using had some corrosion in it. Not enough that I was really worried, but it was there.

I'm not terribly worried about my waterblocks, because I can see the surface and fins of the CPU block and they appear to be spotless (besides an annoying bubble I cannot get to come out.)

Or should I be worried because the blueish green stuff in the radiator is metal removed from those blocks? They've been in service since late 2016. Only runs when I'm at home.

I would like to replace the radiator, for something of equal size but with more ports so I can get absolutely all of the air out of the loop.

that is one sexy homelab you got going on there!

how quiet is the Dell under load? right now i'm using a HP DL380 and it gets pretty noisy when under sustained BOINC loads. i'm considering just swapping it out for a simmilarly specced R710.

also, what is that 4U box you got underneath it?

Thanks! I'm running a powershell script I found on reddit to lower the fan RPMs to around 30%. This keeps is quiet but it still cools well. I'm not running anything intensive on it right now. Just a few Linux VMs to practice and it has 1TB of space for now.

The 4U is my unRaid server in a Rosewill RSV-L4500. It's mostly my Media/Backup server running around 20 dockers.

I've recently moved my build into the Meshify C with a Scyrge Fuma 2.

As you can see, the RGB is being weird and only one top fan is lit up.

This setup is much better than the stock cooler and Masterbox Lite 5 RGB.

Edit: If I change the top fan color, the other one will come on, though in a weird way. Say I set one fan to Sea Green, the other one will be orange.

I just wish I could get PWM on the top fans, I may get a fan hub some day.

And now I finally have a 4 GHz system, something I've been wanting since 2016 (I had a 2.4 GHz laptop then).

I always get nervous putting computers on the floor.  One thing is bottom mounted PSUs intake air from the bottom of the case, and carpets restrict airflow.  Another issue is it sits right next to your computer desk.  It would be so easy to spill food or drinks on it.

Carpeting really shouldn't be an issue for most cases at this point (unless obviously it's a lower-tier/older case or you have tall ass carpeting). Thankfully Phanteks sorta brought taller case feet into the mainstream with the Enthoo Pro.

Totally with you on spilling shit though. If you're not careful it could be a bad time. Hell, last month? I knocked a (thankfully almost completely empty) glass off my desk and it smacked my 7010 and shattered.
