A slight update to my setup, but I'm happy with the way it is right now.

I have a new mATX case waiting to be picked up, and I'm considering a new desk eventually (actual L-desk).

Oh, and I need to redecorate the walls and just make the whole room nicer.

Is it a good idea for your screen and laptop to put it so close to the heater?

Since we've had no need for heating the last few months I decided to set it up like this until getting a new desk and redecorating.

When I switch to a proper L desk I'll keep the same setup, just move it to the opposite side of the room and the laptop area won't be in front of the heater anymore.

Best. Mousepad. Ever.

Congratulations on your entry in the PC gaming community (or video/photo editing community.. 3D modeling.. Depends on what you're into :P )

Also, +1 for a full 'Team Red' build, always nice to see one :D

First off: Looks amazing. I've been wanting a Zen 2 setup ever since it was announced.

Second: Most of us on the forum use Dark Theme. It will save your eyes when you're up at 1 AM and have nothing else to do:

Not the most recent picture. I recently replaced the ultrawide with a 144hz 27" monitor. Wanted a combination of both but that's too expensive :(

PC:

CPU: i7-8700K

GPU: GTX-1080ti

RAM: TridentZ RGB 16GB 3600mhz

MoBo: ASUS ROG Z370-E

PSU: Corsair RM 750x iirc

HDD: 1TB + 4TB WD Blue

SSD: 500GB of the 850 evo iirc

Peripherals:

Keyboard: Cooler Master CK-350 (brown switches)

Mouse: Steelseries Sensei 310

Speakers: Mackie's CR3 (or 4, maybe)

Microphone: Audio Technica AT-2020

Audio interface: Steinberg UR22 MK2

Monitor (left): No idea tbh

Monitor (middle): Also no idea, but replaced with an AOC C27G1

Im planning on getting a be silent case & fans (and aio water cooler) because i'd much prefer a silent pc than an aesthetically pleasing computer. The RGB christmas tree lightshow was cool some years ago but i'd much prefer something subtle now.

I like my RGB sometimes, but it's easy enough to turn off when I want stealth mode 🕵️‍♂️

Id do that too if the nzxt cam software isnt horseshit and doesnt fuck with my software & games.

Ah, yeah I'm using Aura Sync and it's awfully limited in what it can actually do, but it doesn't often fuck with things. At least not the newest version. 😅

Finally got a new case to go with my recent new system, a cooler master masterbox q300l.

A budget mATX case it may be, but fit my needs for a small cube sized case that could accommodate all my components, and still look nice, without being too expensive either.

The old case was a CM 690 II without window

bottom.jpg.05fe21ddf62cc41f56b2bf65168bce55.jpg

The new case all built both with the side panel on and off.

I may want to add a front fan and replace the rear stock eventually, oh and finally get round to ordering mounting hardware for my Scythe Ashura if it'll fit?.

Next stage is overclocking, at the moment it is all for looks. The GTX 1080 was brand new for £275, hopefully that puts ideas into your head as to what I paid for this beast 😋

I apologise for the poor quality images and odd angles, still getting used to the size of the monitors and how much glare comes off true tempered glass :)

I'm liking what I'm seeing here.

If all goes to plan, I'm going to make some minor changes to my rig this weekend (at least one pic in my profile) because my water pump has either died or just jammed to the point of not really working well. Anyone want some pics?

Although, I guess I could update since my environ has changed as well. Fuck it, pics coming this weekend.

Buy wallpaper engine on team, this monitor setup would look sexy with an animated ultrawide wallpaper.
