This is my current setup.

Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x | GPU: GTX 1050 | RAM: 2x4gb DDR4 @ 2133 MHz | HDD: WD Blue 1 TB | PSU: evga 650 B3 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M | Case: Stupid, annoying, piece of crap Dell case

I will eventually upgrade the gpu, case, ssd, ram, and monitor (I have a crappy old 1440 x 900 monitor)

Case doesn't LOOK bad, what's so bad about it?

It's really hard to build in because of the lack of cable management options and the weird position of the hard drive bays. Plus, there's only one fan mount. The front actually has ROOM for a fan mount and intake holes, but the front panel button and led are in the way, so I had to zip tie a fan to the front.

No problem! I've loved it for wallpapers ever since i've discovered it. The option to apply custom resolution, aspect ratio and even color parameters is just great.

Hi all!

First post here on the forums, finally decided to "totally join". Figured this was a good place to start.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! Edition (6GB)
Mobo: Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero (Wi-fi)
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3600 (2x8GB)
M.2: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB (boot drive)
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB
Audio: Asus Xonar DX 7.1 (Tucked behind GPU, using riser cable)
Chassis: Thermaltake Core P3 TG Black - Wall-mounted
AIO: 360mm Thermaltake Water 3.0 aRGB Edition
Power Supply: EVGA G3 750W
Cables: CableMod Custom Pro Series

Fans: Thermaltake Pure 12 aRGB

Don't really have the space in my tiny apartment for a "proper" battle station so couch gaming on the TV it is. Honestly it works pretty good.

Felt like joining Linus' forums, as i watch his videos alot. This seems like a nice place to make my first post :)

This build is my first build, i do plan on upgrading literally everything, I just can't afford anything like that currently. (17 and have no job hehe). Built this a month or two ago, most parts were free from a range of friends.

Specs:

PSU - EVGA 600W Silver - I paid like £35 for this, could have set my house on fire with a cheaper one instead but that's no fun.

Motherboard - Asus H81M-Plus - This was a friends old motherboard, it had broken socket pins, no io shield, the Pcie is not secure, and the usb 3.0 port is broken. The socket pins were so hard to fix :(, took me quite a few hours

CPU - i5 4590 Quad Core 3.3GHz - I got this for free, as a gift from a friend, he wanted me to get into PC gaming lmao. It cost around £55 from Cex

CPU Cooler - Some cheap Chinese cooler i paid £9 for. Its not too bad but it will definitely be replaced

GPU - I bought a HD6950 for £10, however it crashes the system sometimes, even underclocked. So I'm running integrated atm.

Case - Corsair SPEC-03 ATX Mid Tower Case - This was from the friend that gave me the broken motherboard, missing 3 of the pcie slot covers, has a few random stickers on the front

RAM - 2x 4gb ddr3 1600MHz - got it from cex at £8 per stick

DVD Drive - this is literally there to fill the gap in the front of the case :s unsure if it even works.

Fans - Fans were free from a friend.  I have 2 front intake fans, and one rear outake. No idea on the rpm, but it keeps the pc cool enough. Also, since the motherboard has 2 fan headers, including the cpu cooler one, i got a fan header extension.

Keyboard + Mouse - 'Magic eagle' mouse + keyboard. They're ok for now, but i will for sure change these out.

Storage - 80gb hdd as a boot drive, and a 500gb hdd i store most things on. The cable for one of them is super short, so its kinda just hanging there.

Monitor - 'Edge10' monitor. Its very old, i dont know anything about it, im using a dvi to hdmi adaptor, since it doesnt have a hdmi port - pretty sure this was my nans lmao, i got it for free.

I have had many issues with this, one being that every time i boot the screen is glitchy and green, i take the hdmi out of the mobo, put it back in, and sorted... until i boot up a game(Only on integrated though). Another issue i have is that it doesn't power off, just restarts, through windows and from the power button on the case. The problems never end :s

Please excuse the awful camera quality, also note i dont have a desk this is literally two sets of draws, not even matching :s
