My baby specs:

  • Fractal Design Define R6 Blackout Black
  • Asus Bridge Strix X470 Gaming
  • AMD Ryzen 7 2700
  • Corsair Hydro H60
  • Corsair RM 1000i (I know, it's a bit overkill, but I had it for a good price...)
  • 48 Gb Corsair DDR4 3200
  • Asus Rog Strix RX580 (vertical mount)
  • Samsung M.2 500Gb Evo 970
  • Seagate Internal HDD 4To
  • Seagate External HDD 8To 6To (oups... made a mistake here 😛  as I'm planning to buy 2 other 4To Internal HDD I got ahead of myself )
  • USB 3.0 extension PCie Card
  • Keyboard : Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 Edition
  • Monitor: Old Philips 27" 1920x1080 (gonna be upgraded soon and will be inherited by my daughter for her future rig).
  • Headset: Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

There's going to be a few changes in the near future (monitor, more USB 3.x extension card, more Internal HDD).

But nothing dramatic.

A upgrade to come for my old case and still to be decided if it goes on my TV screen or for my daughter.

There there is the laptop. Nothing dramatic, enough for me to work on it when I'm away and for my daughter to work on at home.

I'll post pictures of my main PC later.

So back when I joined this forum I had two really nice and high end PC's. I upgraded the GPU's from 780 Ti and 290X, then got bored and sold everything. I remade them...kinda.

The one on the left is an i7 2600K / 980 AMP Extreme. My old one was in a Corsair 780T (same case as the build on the right) and had a P8P67 WS Revolution board. Now it's in a Cougar Panzer Max and has a Z68 FTW board. Oh and the 980 used to be a HOF but I like this one more.

The one on the right is an FX-8350 / Fury Nitro. My old one had a Crosshair V Formula Z board but this M5A99FX fits the new color scheme better and can still run a 9590 if I ever feel like it. Oh and it also used to be in a HAF-X. I decided to go with the case I used to have for my other build though cause I like it lol.

Anyways, I just gotta tidy up some cables and get the rest of my LED fans and storage devices in the mail. They will then be complete. Everything look okay thus far?

Im new in this, humbly from the third world.

CPU: i7 4790K.

RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz.

SSD: 240 Kingstone A400.

No GPU at the moment but it's only a matter of time.

I need to update the keyboard 😅

Still pretty decent specs, are you using the stock cooler? What motherboard? If you can get a better than stock cooler and overclock that 4790K it'll do alot more than it does now at stock speeds. As for a GPU, if you make a thread about upgrading and give a budget people here are very helpful about finding you what fits your needs best. Someone here helped me find a RX580 for cheap from a good seller.
