Not bad but from what i gather this part of the forum is mainly for beauty shots of your setup.  Pop the same question over in the Overclocking threads a bit deeper in the forum ;)

Welp, I put my setup in the closet.  Now I just have to run ethernet and get a proper monitor stand.

That doesn't sound like the best thing for your thermals.

That pc looks like its gonna be starved of airflow. Does it have enough space for airflow at the front and back?

May not be the best looking setup, but I'm still extremely happy to have it.

All specs are in my signature, and my GPU OC is 1878 boost and 8808 memory, with a slight fan speed bump.

And yes, one monitor is on a stool.

It's got ~10" in the front and ~6" in the back.  I do have to be careful to leave the door open while it's running tho, as there's no AC or any ventilation.

It's a hallway closet so the door will always be open.  I might get a fan tho.

Can you put a fan in the ceiling of the closet to draw the hot air out into like an attic or something?

I could theoretically.  The house is a rental though, so it's probably not the best idea.

I just got my F@H server a pump/res upgrade.

It looks a lot better and performs a lot better too, though one thing kinda sucks. I wasn't planning on water-cooling my RAM.

Cool swamp cooler!

Thanks, works well, I measured, the best I got was air coming out 10 degrees cooler. On a more humid day it was only about 4-5 degrees cooler though.

Sadly round here it's often humid when it's hot so swamp coolers don't help me much, but I wish I could use one as they're so much cheaper than using the AC.

I use in in conjunction with the AC. AC doesn't work great in my room, so this suppliments it. The AC helps with the humidity too, so it makes it perform better.

Oh. I may need to build one, there's a room in my house that is the farthest from the furnace blower so it gets weaker AC. Yours is the typical pump dripping water over the humidifier fiber with fan at the top, yea? Did you line the inside with plastic mesh to hold the fiber cloth up?

Right. I stuck some nails in the top to hold the fiber and tubing up.

Just bought a cheap pump at home depot, some tubing, tubing makes circle around top. Put holes in it all around the circle.

Then I just used a big 180mm computer fan in the top. I wired it to a wii power supply, as the fan needed a fair amount of current (silverstone AP181)

I've got a 120V fan I could wire in with the pump and just run the whole thing off a single plug, I'm going to build one lol. Post your swamp coolers thread coming up haha!
