Nice, just like me, take a dell and make it "gamingish"

Soon™. I've gotten so tired of waiting on my mom that I yoinked the SSD and made a somewhat-functional PC with a GTX 480 and 3570K that works okayish. Really need the power of the 3770 and the extra 8GB of RAM that's sitting in the Dell but this stupid ass board flips shit with them, even though they're perfectly fine.

Laptop: Latitude E4310 w/ i5 580M, 8GB RAM, 120GB 840 EVO, Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wireless card, Windows 7 Pro x64

A future build that is for now one of my folding setups for LTT Folding Month.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X

ASRock Taichi X399M

Noctua U9 TR4 Cooler

Asus STRIX GTX 1080

EVGA RTX 2080 XC Ultra

Corsair HX1000i 1000 Watt PSU

Random 140MM Thermaltake fan

Awww yeah. Gotta love that hot hardware.

Just a heads-up though, looks like that hueg fan is actually blowing against the fans of one of the graphics cards. You might want to try adding a duct or repositioning the fan.

Thanks, I just lacked budget for a 7th Gen but I am planning to upgrade maybe next year so I can also use Intel Optane Memory which my motherboard supports but I found out it is not compatible with 6th Gen and below Processors.

but still why Z270? that's for overclocking and stuff as far as i know.

If you think the graphics cards/their fans give the slightest amount of a rat's ass about that fan, you have another thing coming.

Yes, I found that out only a while ago that my motherboard is for overclocking and I have no idea at the time that I bougth it, i think it was last year or two that my cpu is not meant to be overclocked but you can still overclock it in bios you just have to change a setting in bios which is like a beta feature to make non-k cpu's overclockable but I am planning to upgrade for a overclockable processor and also upgrade my ram this upcoming black friday.

All this cool stuff. Will probably upgrade the GPU if the next gen is more sensible than what's available now.

Not with the cooling I have, at least not without like, cranking the fans to max, taking the front panel off and reducing the frequency during AVX workloads. This is as high as I can get it with thermals I'm comfortable with, sadly :P.
