thanks man! its taken a really long time to this setup.

I bet, it took me forever to get this HP monitor (s2031) my old one was a 4:3, so it an improvement at least.
I'm just tired of the off the shelf bs, I've got two others, one doesn't even work any more.

I can't seem to avoid making myself seem like I have the equivalent intellect of half a brick.

This is my current setup.  Its a poor man's setup, but it works for now.  Please excuse the horrible wallpaper (the one on the wall, not on the computers).  I moved into the house almost a year ago, but haven't had time to rip it out.

Laptop on the left is a Lenovo Ideapad P580.

Specs are as follows:

Intel i7 3520M

8GB Ram

Nvidia GeForce GT630M 2GB GPU

750GB HDD 5400RPM

Laptop in the Center is a Dell Latitude E5540

Specs are as follows:

Intel i7 4600U

8GB Ram

Nvidia Geforce GT720M 2GB GPU

500GB HDD 7200RPM

Monitor on the left is a Dell 19' (I think?)

Thats a sick OC on that strix card man. what did it come clocked at out of the box

That OC was a little unstable since im still learning voltages and stuff, i know it probably doesnt make too much of a difference, but i got the OC stable to 2139 which is still pretty good :) Was using the Heaven Benchmark to test each time. Maybe sometime ill play with the voltage to maybe squeeze more power out since I never thermal throttle

Well, here it is, the worst set up ever (I'm moving things around at the moment so my desk is super cluttered...also, some one rear ended a semi outside my place.)

Current project for the games room; space simulation seat for Star Citizen, Elite etc for use with a VR headset. Just have to consider making a virtual pinball setup and hopefully all the essential toys will be in place. It's been stalled for a while but the majority of the build work has been done. I will need to figure out where in the room to locate it.

Was that chair from something, or did you build the cushions too?

It looks amazing. Great job! There is also a section for projects that this would fit great in!

I HAVE BROKEN DOWN INTEL'S NAMING SCHEME FOR THE i-SERIES!

You start in the city of Nehalem, a glorious city built upon power and its majestic lakes, so you take a walk on the Sandy Bridge to get to Ivy Bridge, which leads to Has Well, but you realized Has Well was dirty so you went to Broad Well, while at Broad Well you saw Sky Lake, but it wasn't too impressive so you kept going towards Kaby Lake. You then decided that Kaby Lake seemed kind of childish so you went to the big one known as Coffee Lake, but that just wasn't enough. You then head on over to Cannon Lake to see a true wonder of the world, only to realize Ice Lake was what you were looking for the entire time.

Thanks! The whole thing is scratch made including all the panels and upholstery. Each section was cut, foam applied and the material stapled in place. These were screwed onto the back of the main seat frame. The bottom secctions have thicker and softer foam for comfort. The top is angled slightly for a better fit. The whole thing was re-cut several times to get the ergonomics right.

Honestly if you drilled a hole in the desk for your keyboard/mouse cables, and then generally cleaned cables up... I'd give this a solid 10/10.

Just disconnect the GPU and CPU block, then all cables and the thing pops right out and back in again!
