I have a pretty decent setup apart from the GPU

An Intel I7 4790k using a stock cooler

16Gb ram I'm afraid I do not know the spec of it

Gigabyte Z97 chipset motherboard

AMD Raedon 5500 GPU (I've got a second one ready for when I have a PSU that can utilize two graphics cards

I used to have a 1 Terabyte Samsung HHD but it broke so I only have a 256 Gb SSD

I have a no brand case that i modded badly to include a window.

I use two BenQ 2450 gl 24" monitors

I am looking to upgrade the basic accessories but I do not have much money.

I am looking for a decent gaming mouse Wired or Wireless

A set of decent headphones and a DAC

A 7.1 or 5.1 speakers

On a side note I am also looking for a right angle wooden desk, I am happy to get two desk to connect

I would really appreciate any help someone could give me, thanks ! :-)

Skylake built in today!

Partially built, cable management isn't done, dust cleaning isn't done and the rubber grommet is off here.

So far the CPU is operating silent and cool at stock speeds, I'm getting an aftermarket cooler soon.

I've had a Phenom ii 3.2Ghz AMD cpu before and now all of the CPU bottlenecks are gone, everything runs a little smoother.

So far satisfied.

My observation: They changed the "font" on the CPU's IHS, the stock cooler is the same, and that is some damn sexy dedotaded wam. If ADATA remakes their XPG 1.0 in DDR4 form... HNNNNGGGGGG

I don't really get what you're saying about my ram lol.

The stock cooler is from the 4790 by the way, Skylake doesn't come with any of them.

Just usual DDR4, overclocked it to 3066 mhz.

I had to choose this or Vengeance LPX . they don't make white Fury ram :-(

Not sure yet, I'm actually surprised at how quiet and cool my CPU on stock speeds is with the Intel Stock cooler.

I was looking at the H110i GTX but I'm not sure..

Sadly, I cant. The latest bios disabled OC... I am trying to find a solution. The preloaded bios has oc but was unable to load windows on all cores.

First $470 PC build

Specs:

Intel core i5 4460
MSI B85M-G43
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB
Rosewill Galaxy 02
Western Digital 1TB Blue
Asus DVD burner
EVGA 500W (gift from a friend

I tried with the cables but the case didn't have enough room in the back. Also the cables were thick and I didn't have a modular power supply. Overall I'm quite pleased with my first build. For now, this build is for everyday use with some gaming. A graphics card is coming soon; possibly a MSI gtx 970 4g. This computer is replacing my 10 year old Dell Dimension E521 with a single core AMD processor and 2GB of ram (upgraded from 512mb

Yes i figured "since buying a monitor stand that can hold my 32" TV and 34" ultrawide is gonna cost like 600 USD (yes, yes they do where i live)... i said FUCK IT, ill make it out of scrap i found at my dads workplace. All screwd with self-tapping screws, tape is there just for good measure (cuz screws are short and i am paranoid cuz my TV and monitor costs a fucking shitload to buy new, or rather, you cannot buy that TV model anymore....)

Also, i figured, fuck buying sound-proofed case, ill do it myself... so i bought some sound dampening foam and went to work on my Phantom 820.....

The TV is a 32" 1080P LED 3D Smart-TV, the Monitor is the S34E790C 34" 3440x1440 VA monitor....

The little HTPC in the back is a shitty brick from Acer. The Acer REVO... it features two of the worst products i know of... Nvidia ION and Intel Atom... combined they made the product even worse.....

The PS3 and PS4 is just outside the pictures, but they are both in the compartment with my Subwoofer.

And yes, that is a bottle of jack and morgan.... i need those to keep my sanity after visiting these forums...

jk, thats a nice PSU.. Too bad it doesnt have full Corsair Link compatibility (my friend has a HX1000... we learned this the hard way when we tried to use Corsair Link with it... apparently only AX has full Corsair Link)
