My tower is pitiful and I'm saving money for a new (pretty nice) one, and, unfortunately, I'm too young to get a job. I'd really like to touch it up but if I do I'll never be able to afford a new one. Also the thing will overheat if I put the side panel on.

Here are the specs:

AMD Phenom 2 6X 1055T (OCed to 3.3Ghz on stock cooling)

Gigabyte 880GMA-UD2H

4 GB Ripjaws (1600Mhz)

Palit GTX 580 (OCed to 830Mhz)

Generic 1TB 7200 RPM HDD

HP DVD CD rom

RocketFish 900W (80+silver)

ASUS Xonar DS 7.1

Some random Rosewill (Newegg rebranded generic) case

Please quote me if you want me to see your post about my post, otherwise I may lose track of the thread and never see it.

I'd love to help, but I'm probably gonna' have to ask for more info before we can get anything done.

Have a wonderful day.

Well, I guess I'll post mine as well then. It's my first build ever, and I've made a couple of mistakes (no modular PSU, probably too high wattage too, bad case and no custom CPU cooler ,although I'm looking to get one, once I get to moving the internals into a new case and finally no SSD), but W/e :)

Specs:

MSI Z68A GD-65

8GB 1333MHz KVR

Corsair TX850 (850W)

Inter Core i7-2600k

ASUS GTX 680 DCUII-O (originally an EXTREMELY noisy 560Ti Hawk...)

WD 1TB Blue and 2TB Green (cba to reïnstall Windows atm, so no SSD yet)

For peripherals I have a Logitech G110 and a G600

And the monitors are just 2 1080p monitors, 1 samsung SA300, and a Medion.

Picture isn't up to date, there's no bottom side fan anymore, and the red light inside is gone as well (was actually on the 560Ti, power phase LED's). That, my old mouse's still there.

This is my work rig, and i made a conscious decision to not get a K proccy and a Z77 as i'd spend less time working and more time yelling "MOAR VCORE!!" every morning

Does its job of running Illustrator/Indesign/PS and Lightroom rather well smile.png

Still have a LOT of cable management to do inside the case though, the HX620's EPS8pin doesnt quite reach the motherboard connector when routed behind the tray, and until i get an extension, is quite an eyesore. Other things remaining is to add another AF140 on the intake, and replace the stock cooler with an H60 with an SP120
