May not be the best looking setup, but I'm still extremely happy to have it.

All specs are in my signature, and my GPU OC is 1878 boost and 8808 memory, with a slight fan speed bump.

And yes, one monitor is on a stool.

It's got ~10" in the front and ~6" in the back.  I do have to be careful to leave the door open while it's running tho, as there's no AC or any ventilation.

It's a hallway closet so the door will always be open.  I might get a fan tho.

Can you put a fan in the ceiling of the closet to draw the hot air out into like an attic or something?

I could theoretically.  The house is a rental though, so it's probably not the best idea.

I just got my F@H server a pump/res upgrade.

It looks a lot better and performs a lot better too, though one thing kinda sucks. I wasn't planning on water-cooling my RAM.

Thanks, works well, I measured, the best I got was air coming out 10 degrees cooler. On a more humid day it was only about 4-5 degrees cooler though.

Sadly round here it's often humid when it's hot so swamp coolers don't help me much, but I wish I could use one as they're so much cheaper than using the AC.

I use in in conjunction with the AC. AC doesn't work great in my room, so this suppliments it. The AC helps with the humidity too, so it makes it perform better.

Oh. I may need to build one, there's a room in my house that is the farthest from the furnace blower so it gets weaker AC. Yours is the typical pump dripping water over the humidifier fiber with fan at the top, yea? Did you line the inside with plastic mesh to hold the fiber cloth up?

Right. I stuck some nails in the top to hold the fiber and tubing up.

Just bought a cheap pump at home depot, some tubing, tubing makes circle around top. Put holes in it all around the circle.

Then I just used a big 180mm computer fan in the top. I wired it to a wii power supply, as the fan needed a fair amount of current (silverstone AP181)

I've got a 120V fan I could wire in with the pump and just run the whole thing off a single plug, I'm going to build one lol. Post your swamp coolers thread coming up haha!

I need to get one more to do 4 total and then cut out the mesh behind them and figure out how to deal with the edge left behind by this. That'll let the video card breathe freely and protect it from me and my clumsy ham fists. So I ordered 5 more in case I decide to do the same to the other side of the case to match it, but I don't think I can since I'm using that mesh to hold a case fan over there to help pull out CPU heat, though if I end up not needing the case fan over there I could match the sides. So man choices.

I can crash a computer in 30 seconds by running a .bat file with the contents %0|%0.

I can crash a computer in 1 second by yeeting it.

I also now have about 7 GB of viruses on an autorun flash drive.

I'll be the first to admit that I normally hate mods like this... But for once someone did it and it doesn't look like a month-old dingleberry. Not bad.

Thank you, all off the shelf parts too! Once I cut out the mesh behind the cabinet pulls and get some lighting in the case it'll be very neat looking though I suspect the lights I got may be too bright.
