Pro tip, before you reply to an question or topic, answer these three questions:

1) Do I actually have an answer for OP at all?

2) Am I giving an answer that is based in multiple reliable source tests and not personal opinion or heresay?

3) Is my answer on topic, clear and concise?

If you answered "no" to any of those, close the tab.

Do not give people information you personally think is correct. Source, research and then reply. If you plain and simple don't know what you're talking about, don't talk about it. It's harmful to support questions on forums to be providing people with wrong or misleading information. As well as going off topic from the original question.

i.e. "What B360 motherboard should I buy?"

>someone replies with a PC partpicker list with a ryzen system

Not what was asked.

No need for the usb filter if your output signal is clean, I'd recommend using an optical toslink from the MB to the DAC anyways, that will completely cut out any on board processing of the signal and hand it off to the DAC.  Optical is capable of up to 24/96hz on most mainstream boards

I do have the option of optical, I just didn't consider it as I thought USB was the way to go to skip the onboard processing.  I guess I can forgo part of the stack then.  Good deal.  I can put that money towards my power conditioner.  Thanks for the advice.

I've bought these parts for a custom ITX build.

I will be working from home using Citrix VM so a new i5 processor was required.

Any ideas to improve this build?

I will probably upgrade my H55 to a H80i next week depending on the performance of this build.

Also, has anyone done a build with this cpu and motherboard? I'm sweating that the motherboard will need a BIOS update.

I've bought these components and will have to wait at least a week before I could pick up a cheap 8th gen processor just to update :(

Monitor: Acer ET322qr 4k 60hz monitor.

CPU: Intel - Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H55 57 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock - Z370M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Intel - 660p Series 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB FTW2 GAMING iCX Video Card
Case: Silverstone - Sugo SG13B Mini ITX Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - SF 600 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply
Case Fan: Corsair - ML120 Pro 75 CFM 120mm Fan
Other: SilverStone Technology Universal ATX to SFX Power Supply Bracket RL-PP08B
Other: Silverstone Sugo SG13B Dust Filter Kit

I will be doing some 1080p-2160p gaming and streaming from this build as well as some videos on YouTube in my spare time.

I'm not planning to make money from doing this so this build should be able to last for 5 years (low settings 30+ FPS hopefully) before requiring an upgrade of the Motherboard, CPU, and Graphics Card
