New main system, not quite done, but done for the time being, until I can afford paint, patina, and fans. I decided to name it Black Lightning, because of the black and gold theme along with the Lightning card. It has

Celeron G1620

Asrock Z77 Extreme4-M

2x8 GB Ballistix Sport 1600 MHz

R9 290X Lightning

EVGA 1200 P2

Corsair Crystal 280X

Noctua NH-C14S

Revodrive 3 240 GB

Sandisk 64 GB SSD

I really love the cables, had them custom made by a friend and they are just awesome.

Just built a whole new PC today.  30 minutes, first attempt, no post issues, no windows install issues.  I think I entered the twilight zone of computer building..

Starting with a Ryzen 5 since this PC's purpose is to run my G920 setup and other semi-mobile gaming needs in my apartment/at friends places.  May upgrade the CPU and cooler later on, can't let it be better than my main rig with the 5930k!

Ryzen 5 1600

Asus Cerberus 1070Ti

16gb DDR4 2667 MHZ RAM

500gb 860 EVO

NZXT H200i mini ITX case

Gigabyte B450 Aurous board

Corsair CX650M PSU

I finally mounted my good pump in my rig again! The DDC I was using before was kinda dying, and really didn't push as much as this one.

Also took the opportunity to add a little wood on this one aswell ;)

Those cables really do need some sleeving tho..

Jesus that is impressive. It's crazy how you managed to cram in a full SLI watercooled loop into a case that small. Damn fine work!

A small update to my setup. I picked up a new LG 34GK950G and decided to wall mount my 2 old Dell panels. Gave the room a fresh coat of paint while I was wall mounting the panels.

thanks! :D it definitely was a lot of work, tough i've taken it apart a few times now and i'm starting to get used to the way this thing comes together.

building this small has it's downsides tough, even apart from the obvious ones like thermals. something as mundane as changing out a RAM stick can mean i have to drain the loop and take out the pump/res unit.

your setup definitely looks awesome too tough! super clean, and that audio setup looks like it'll do the job just fine :o

Dang. My M.2 slot is behind the middle fan on my bottom rad and I'm already dreading having to remove the fan to install a drive there. I cannot imagine how much work you have to put into just the basics for your rig. I have nothing but respect.

Thank you! :) My audio setup is by far the oldest part of my collection. Funny story behind the speakers. The CEO of the speaker company was arrested multiple times on charges of Charity Fraud.

Would never do that to a video card waste of money since it isn't compatible with the next video card. Also it worked went down 7 degrees. No more notifications of my card lifespan going down at 83c

Thanks and yeah the table is just a stop gap, most of the nice wooden tables I've seen are too wide to fit unfortunately so I may end up making one

Yo, what's up. I suppose I'll make this my intro thread and my general epeen expander too!

I've been a long time LTT watcher, probably since 2012 ish? Got me through my college years! I just haven't really thought about signing up to here since now. I'm around on other tech forums and go by either Adam or Xiggy.

Anyhow, here's my pics. I'm mid change of this setup already. Just need a desk and I'll be sorted. PC is staying the same until Zen 2 comes out!
