New laptop buy

Sev1251

I am split between two laptops:

HP Omen 17 for 2000$

17.3 144hz display, i7-8750H,16GB of ram, 1TB hard drive and a 256GB ssd and a 1060

Acer predator helios ph315 for 1900$,
15.6' 144hz display, i7-8750H, 16Gb of ram, 1TB hard drive and a 512GB ssd and a 1060

Since looking at the spec sheet doesn't really help, I was wondering about the thoughts on HP and Acer laptops from the rest of you, since I don't have experience with either.

Weight and battery life aren't important since my laptop is my main machine so it rarely leaves the desk.
I am currently living in China and have a 2000$ budget.
I use it for modeling, gaming and everything internet based.

Also, I read your review of the Y530, which i'm also looking into, but with an i7 and a 1060. What do you think about that? That Y530 is 1800$.

There are tons of good options there. List down a few models that you like and I'll pick the good ones for you
