Omg I think I might be going crazy or falling in love after seeing her plans for my Galion Evo

Galion

She came up a pretty crazy itx build I don't think even Mr Linus would wanna do, I told her I was going to upgrade my system in may/june I showed her my plans and she says "hey David wanna try out a full closed loop itx build?"

I say how and she writes down this.

Case : Raijintek Ophion Evo with steel plate side paneling - no changes in case.

Cpu Ryzen third gen processor - upgrade from R5 2600

CPU Cooler : Corsair H80i v2 GT - switch from silverstone td02

Motherboard : upgrade to B550/X570 itx motherboard

R.A.M : G.skill trident z ddr4 3200mhz cl16 32gb - upgrade from 16gb

Graphics card : MSI RTX 2080 Seahawks X 8gb - switch from zotac gtx 1080 mini 8gb

 No changes in storage

PSU :Corsair SF600 600w 80+ platinum modular

I don't know if it'll effect cpu good or bad this could be a interesting build, the MSI seahawk 2080 comes with a 120mm closed loop gpu hybrid cooler. And I've not seen any itx build done this way so far, it could be interesting but the card is hard to order to my area, and the raijintek ophion Evo supports a 240mm I don't know if both 120mm will fit.

So I kinda wanna get advice from you guys, what do you guys think should I stick with my normal plans or go for hers

If its the same price and you want to go for it, yeah. Just remember that it might be a little bit more difficult to maintain. Now thats over, lets go crazy that there is a gamer girl.

When one's as old as I am, I'd sure hope they'd lost out on the opportunity of love at least once in their lives ;)
Many times. Either through my own decisions, lack of trying, or their decision.

My remark was more because one doesn't fall in love over a computer piece, that's more infatuation than anything. Love is something much deeper. It's just become such a bastardized word and it's lost a lot of it's core meaning.

On topic: The two 120mm rads should fit in the 240mm slot. Might just have to figure out how to orient the hoses so that they fit, and not kink.

An H80i V2 is probably too thick to fit. I believe the unit is 99 mm thick with both fans installed. This picture suggests a 54mm thick setup is the limit.

The other issue would be trying to mount two 120mm radiators side-by-side.  Not sure that will be possible. Certainly would require some modding for the two additional mounting screws.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
