Automotive paint is the high end stuff, but I've used regular spray paint to great effect, and LTT of course advocates Plasti dip.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Well you shouldn't paint onto a PCB or over a heat intake, but any heat sink or case side panel will be an open canvas.

As someone with a modded & painted Corsair Air 240 case, I can confirm you'll want to use automotive or engine block paint, possibly with a grey primer, depending on the original color of the part you want to paint. Also note that some plastic pieces from your case will only bond with certain paint types - automotive paint works really well when painting steel or aluminum, but you'll definitely want to test your paint with whatever plastic you might want to paint.

Check out my ages old build log below to see how Ford Cardinal Red worked out on my Air 240 case:
