Assistance installing H115i AIO in CM Masterbox Lite 5 RGB

Hey I'm very new to PC building

I'm about to set up this AIO on the case. While reading the manual it said it is best to mount the fans as air intake. This is a 280mm radiator with 2 140mm fans, my front panel has 3 fans as is

What should I do with them, am I supposed to remove them and mount the radiator behind them inside the case or do I leave them as is? I couldn't find a build guide on this case where they install a 280mm cooler. Instructions are much appreciated

Yeah, just remove two fans and put the rad in there instead. You might need to remove the third fan as well if it doesn't fit.

Alright after like 6ish hours of work I finally set it up.

I had to keep the radiator inside, both fans outside [where the  old fans used to be] and mount it like that.  Fans are taking air in and there's  a rear fan pushing it out.

But only one 120mm rear fan, while 2  140mm fans are taking air in. I'll be switching this case as soon as possible for an upgrade. And the H115i fans are /extremely/ loud under load [goes up to 2300-2400 RPM just around 40degrees] in the default profile. I'll check how to set up profiles in Corsair Link and configure the fans later. Cable Management is terrible in the case but I don't know how to fix it, I'll have to tackle this once I get the new case.

Idle temp was around 27-30  without the side or front panels but is around 40s with everything covered. This case is truly a hotbox nightmare.  It is still much better than what my stock cooler was achieving at least, and I also went from 3.7GHz to turning Turbo on again. Thanks for your help.

Use iCUE, Corsair Link is dead.  Set pump to Extreme (no audible changes at all and no additional wear and tear they are rated to run at Extreme for the failure times they are sold with) and fans to 40% - should be whisper quiet and work well.

Don't worry about having to little exhaust compared to intake.  The most optimal setup is the MOST intake possible (cool air) - the case cant hold it, there are seams.  Worse case with having 1 rear exhaust only...it doesn't keep up so it will blow the air out of the case from any seam.  Dust will collect in those seams so in 6 months you can see exactly where its finding outlets of air lol

Is this a Front Glass Panel intake?  If so yea...those are choking the system for air typically.

I have the same case as you but the 2 fan version instead its the MC Lite 3.1, what i did was this look and it helped a lot brought Temps down by 20c.  I know my cutting is ghetto cause I didn't hat the right tools. It would cleaner if I had a drimmel.

Hey, thanks for the replies

Your case seems to have an additional brackeg or maybe you installed the fans inside. It would've been tough for me to install the fans inside but I'm wondering if I did something wrong. Here's a pic with the old stock 120mm Cooler Master case fans before the radiator was mounted.

As you can see it doesn't have that additional layer for me to put on a mesh. I was trying to have the radiator inside and the fans behind it (still intake) but the 2nd 140mm fan wasnt in reach for screwing in. The PSU / HDD sheathe thing got in the way on the bottom. So is it a bad thing that I've mounted the fans outside?

Yeah it is a Front Glass Panel intake, I put the glass panel up again after installing cooler. And thanks for the reassurance, I'll use iCUE.
