"Cheap" camera for Youtube videos?

Hello there!!

I'm about to start a Youtube channel and I was looking for a decent camera. A friend of mine recommend me the Sony A6300, which looks amazing, but it screen doesn't rotate, so I can't Vlog if someday I want to do that

I think quality on video recording is definetly something very important on a serious channel

But your starting a channel, your not a serious channel yet. If people don't like the content you make in the beginning then they won't care about better video quality.

I recommend the cannon m50 if your on a budget. if you are inexperienced with dslr or mirror less cameras though it might take a bit to learn how to use it.

What are you filming? What is your channel about? What editing capability to you have?

The m50 is a great place to start, Yes I would recommend it over the Sony. Keep in mind that a good audio solution is also a necessity.

Yes I absoluetly think so too. If you then have fun doing it maybe step up to the Canon SL2/200D, I personally have it and the Quality is impressive for the price.

Or the M50, as someone mentioned earlier. However I wouldn‘t buy an M50 because of 4K since it has a huge crop when filming in 4K.

I ended up buying a Sony A6300. Very happy for the moment, very good quality and decent price
