Why I always hear in my mind when someone says "Chinese games" "Chinese knockoffs"? Is it only the Play Store that is just filled with knockoff games that very usually are advertised in other games with more than questionable ads that may even be shared with multiple games and some even use clearly copyrighted stuff to advertise their knockoff and in all cases the path runs to some Chinese developer?

Or is it only me who just runs time after time to some Chinese games that are more than clearly ripoffs or knockoffs depending on wether they use assets from other games or just replace assets in other games with their own?

Hm...

Quite a interessting product... not because of the hardware...

The sorfware is really exiting...

Imagine a "Gaming OS" if you will, that can run on every windows machine and cuts short of all the annoying crap windows does...

If such a OS is more friendly for casual users... a "macOS gaming" if you will,,,, that **** will sell consoles...

-Programmers and Savage nerds got "Linux"

-Enterprises and 0815 Folks got "Win 10"

-VideoEditors and famous Lads got "MacOS"

-Gamers and Twitch streamers got "nothing?"

Gamers rise up! We deserve our own OS...

Regards G.

Oh boy oh boy, they fucking used those um3 engine tentacle rape nukige's music for background music in this game, the dual trilogy from Mangagamer called Lapiz Gunner/Ruby Striker/Amber Breaker Trilogy and the Asuka Warrior Princess/Finale Chapter/Melisa Royal Guard Trilogy. Your editor have great taste. They used the soundtrack mid way during the video.

With 16GiB VRAM it would be awesome. Lets hope that a new version with more memory comes...

But this one looks awesome and is the only gamable PC that is really console sized...

Alienware Alpha.

Any gaming laptop.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

I searched for dg02srtbp4mfa directly in Google and came up with this article:  https://wccftech.com/amd-fenghuang-apu-3dmark-specs-performance-leak/

As mentioned, looks like it's an APU. Here is a quote from the article "The AMD Fenghuang 15FF is an internal codename for the graphics while the chip it was tested with is currently codenamed DG02SRTBP4MFA."

My guess is that the 2gb of reserved RAM is for the video card, tho the video showed 2gb of VRAM + 4gb System + 4gb Reserved is how it was made up. I'm not sure how that conclusion was made and just assumed it'd be 6gb system + 2gb reserved (aka VRAM).

Just some quick and dirty thoughts.

+50% more (almost)

And no 2,5" Drive bays. This thing has two 2,5" Drive Bays and comes with a normal sized (IIRC 120 or 240GB) SSD and a 1TB HDD.

And all that for like 600€ or so.

now that's bullshit.

For various reasons.

One of them is the rediculous prices.

You can get like 4 of these things for a decent "Gaming Laptop"...

No, it's not.

They're PCs that can game. When used like desktops (meaning closed, with monitor and KB+M/controller), they're the size of a console.

Depends on what you consider decent. For me, a base Dell G5 15 is decent and that's $880 right now.

Yes, it is for various reasons.

Its two completely different things for completely different usage cases.

THe Heatsinks of the Gaming Laptops are probably smaller and also higher RPM fans...

They are mobile PCs wich come with a Display you don't need, Batterys you don't want and also external power bricks you've also missed.

So they aren't even much smaller...

Something that's not worse than this, has the same amount of drives and form factor.

And the Dell you mentioned is also far more expensive as well...

So Steam OS?

If their main goal is to sell hardware, they won't make it publicly available or compatible with a wide selection of hardware. And if their main goal is to sell software, they'll make it hard or impossible to install games from other stores. Okay, I guess I'm being pessimistic, maybe they're not exploitative people. Valve didn't lock out other stores from Steam OS, but Valve were building on top of copylefted open source system, not a proprietary one.

Another wonderful piece of silicon courtesy of AMD Semi-Custom solutions.

Now imagine what Sony and Microsoft can achieve with them in next gen consoles.

Edit: Digital Foundry has a wonderful hand-on analysis of this "console".
