Buying new laptop

Hello there.

So, I've been wanting to buy a new laptop for quite sometime (As I've been using a 2012 model macbook pro, which needless to say isn't running perfectly). I think I wanna go for a windows this time and I've considered buying the Razer Blade 15, with the following specs:

OS - Windows® 10 Home (64-bit)
Processor - Intel® Core™ i7-8750H processor 6 Core
Graphics - NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 Max-Q (6GB VRAM)
Display - 15.6" Full HD 60Hz w/ 4.9mm bezel
Storage - 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD
Memory - 16GB dual-channel, expandable to 32GB

One of the main reasons why I want to buy this is the design of it.
However, before buying I'd like to know whether or not its a good buy or not.
I do know that it is a bit more pricey than other laptops but I do want to pay a little bit more for the design.
Also, does anyone know how good Razer's trackpads are? (I really love the macbook trackpads and I just don't want to end up missing them too much haha)

Thanks in advance.

I have had bad luck with all Razer products. The last blade stealth I had is a paperweight now on my desk at home. Motherboard fried and it's out of warranty. I have boxes of keyboards that have shorts and mice that don't work. Personally I like the looks but I would rather sacrifice looks for better quality. Just my two cents and my experience.

$200 more for some edgy looking plastics? I'd pass.

it's like $1800 right? I'd get an Alienware R5 for that much, or an XPS/Asus for a bit more or less.

ASUS X470-PRO • R7 1700 4GHz • Corsair H110i GT P/P • 2x MSI RX 480 8G • Corsair DP 2x8 @3466 • EVGA 750 G2 • Corsair 730T • Crucial MX500 250GB • WD 4TB
