Will I get Gsync with my monitor now?

I've a GTX 1060 and I've a freesync monitor. I read recently that now I can Gsync?

I had a driver update too for this?LG lg23mp68vq  is my monitor? Will this support Gsync?

I do not see this work even after the driver update.

if it uses Displayport you can manually enable Freesync in the Nvidia controlpanel.

You may have to turn on Freesync within the monitors menu.

That is just Nvidia painting freesync standard in a bad picture. It will more often than not work fine. It just doesnt enable it by default. Which is why Nvidia failed so many monitors. They are all just fine. Akd if you experience one of the mentioned issues you shoudl RMA since the display is then faulty
