First PC, Windows Install

BSula99

You need a 16 GB flash drive (I don't think 8 is enough) and you will need another computer (hopefully you posted this from a computer, and not your phone ;)) and you can use the Microsoft download tool. It will format your flash drive and make a bootable windows 10 installation file.

Plug it in, follow along, and there ya go :). You will need a key though, but you can put it in after, there is an option for it.

And when that fails, open the tool again, download the ISO, then use rufus to put it on the stick.

also 8gb is plenty

I haven't had it fail in years. It used to be garbage, but over the past few years I haven't had an issue and I have deployed ~10 computers in 2018 alone for friends, family and myself.

But, yes, rufus works great, but that is a bit frightening for first time users lol. Its definitely my go to for anything linux...

Get the windows 10 ISO, if the official website confuse you, go get it in some torrent site.

Then install a program called RUFUS.

Plug in a 8gb minimum flash drive.

Open up rufus and follow below options:

Follow exactly like that.

Now plug the usb to the pc you want to install and select the flash disk as the boot drive (in bios).

After you booted windows installer, continue until you reach the format disk utility.

Click format if ask, then continue until it finished.
