Well if he plays competitive games, definitely go for the Samsung 1080p (for the higher refresh rate) but if not, go for one of the 1440p ones (probably LG for the size)

Well his system is built only waiting for his graphics card from Nvidia (2060 6gb FE) which will arrive by Monday.

Right now me and the boy can't decide which monitor to go for so we decided to ask the pros, you guys?

LG 1440p 75hz 34inch ultra-wide freesync - $209.00

Samsung 1080p 100hz 34inch ultra-wide freesync - $200.00 - ( free Samsung headphones)

AOC 1080p 100hz 27 Inch freesync - $189.99

Vivo 1440p 75hz 27 Inch ultra-wide freesync - $195.99 - (Chinese brand)

All within his price range please remember this is his first pc

Best Value Build List

Budget 1080p System (RGB) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7v2Lmq - (this build comes with two free games with the RX 570)

What are his exact specs? I wouldn’t wanna say get a 100hz monitor if his pc can’t reach 100fps, nor would I say go for 75hz if it reaches far past 75fps

which is why I’m asking for the specs lol

Nvidia recently certified 12 freesync  monitors as Gsync compatible. I would get one from that list for best value. Gysync prices are rediculous.

Black Knight-

Ryzen 5 5600, GIGABYTE B550M DS3H, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz, Asrock RX 6800 XT Phantom Gaming,

Seasonic Focus GM 750, Samsung EVO 860 EVO SSD M.2, Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe, Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon

Daughter's Rig;

MSI B450 A Pro, Ryzen 5 3600x, 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz, Silicon Power A55 512GB SSD, Gigabyte RX 5700 Gaming OC, Corsair CX430
