Help me out with this

I'm going to preface this by saying, I know that air flow is important.  I know the different concepts of air pressure, and what is considered to be better etc etc.  And yes, I know this is the liquid cooling section.

Okay, my question is, if you've got your CPU and your GPU cooled by liquid, (either in a custom loop or AIO) does air flow matter as much?  I mean, obviously, you don't want there to be zero air flow within the case because you need the VRMs and other components to stay cool as well, but is it AS important is my question.

Thanks!

From my research, it is still important! Its important to the facts that you pointed out. If the VRMs get too hot it could throttle your CPU and also not to mention your HDD's, SSD's, RAM, and CPU still will be negatively impacted by lower amounts of airflow

you still need there to flow air through the rads but generally it isnt AS important even though you still want it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

That's kind of what I was thinking.  I've decided my case doesn't have the air flow I was hoping, and I'm contemplating either putting my GPU on water, or getting a new case.

Most of my boards have vrm and chipset water cooling. As well as the ram.

But for the ones that dont, I keep minimal airflow. That and the back of the gpus tend to dump 80c heat from them.

you can get by without it though. Quite a few pcs are designed as such.
