Restoring windows with a trim SSD

Hi!, If I have a SSD with trim and then restore windows (with the built in "restorer") will the files I havn't put in the recycle bin be removed permanently? I mean like will stuff like temporary files and other files be removed?

Another question. If i disable pagefile will they still be removed permanentley?

All the settings you are talking about are not for you to worrie about.

Windows is taking care of them

Disable the paging file only if you have 16Gb RAM or plus

So will all of them get deleted permanently when restoring windows? (when im using the inbuilt restorer with a trim ssd)

Trim is like defrag for HDD

SSD=Trim

HDD=Defrag

I have an SSD on my laptop. will all the files be permanently removed if TRIM is enabled and i do a windows restore? (using the built in windows restore software)

Trim doesn't affect anything!

If you use restore, the files are not affected either

I dont mean the windows files, i mean the files that ive made and or downloaded, such as text documents and so on? will they get permanently removed?

Yes i understand what you meant.

No they wont.

Only windows settings and install/uninstalled programs will get back to the previous point

So they are just showed as not being there and will get overwritten when new files are put on the ssd?

Okay, Lets say i create a text document that is 10MB on the desktop. Then i restore windows and choose the option to remove all files. When its done. Then i get new files on the SSD, by download, making new files etc. Will the original text document be overwritten or will it alredy have been permanetly removed when i restored windows by using the built in "restore windows" program?

Yeah but what im wondering is like, you know how when you put a file in the resycle bin and then empty it. it wont really be removed it will just be shown as removed and sooner or later be overwritten by another file. is that what happens now if i have a TRIM enabled SSD?

no!!!

Trim is an  SSD setting to make it run smother doesn't mess with your files

Edit: you shoulden't mess with Trim anyway, windows is taking care of it
