Alright, thanks I'm gonna keep looking into prices of z390 boards around $160, if there arent any drops. I think the one you listed should be good enough.

This one? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813145095&Description=gigabyte z390&cm_re=gigabyte_z390-_-13-145-095-_-Product

Do you think this would last long, and work well with overclocking the i5-9600k?

The ud is fine. But hella barebones.

The aorus z390 elite is not too much more expensive if you budget can stretch that

Well I was looking to spend aroundn$130 on a motherboard, but do you think buying something like the aorus z390 elite $160 ish is worth it, with how long will last, overclocking and sustainability?

It's a motherboard, so long as it's not faulty, years. There's a bunch of us on here with X58 mobos (gigabyte, ASUS, some MSI ones) from the 2010-2011 timeframe and they're still kicking and running overclocks on 6c/12t chips like a champ. Should last you for as long as the compatible CPUs are relevant unless you utterly abuse it or like I said, it's faulty. Usually you'll notice that before the warranty goes out and do an RMA though. And considering Gigabyte has the best VRMs pretty much for the Z390 gen, OCs should be great and stable.

What about the MSI Z390-A Pro ? (it's about same price)

I'm in same case as the OP.

Need mobo + 9600K + RAM for upgrade. I still don't have chosen the motherboard.

the z390-a is one of the worst boards iirc, gigabyte just has the best mobos for the price for z390

I looked at that one and I believe someone told me it would be better to get one that is $160, I forgot the reasoning?
