Some help please

I bought a new laptop but swapped out the harddrive from the original to my old one to keep my OS and all my files.

I did this even before the first boot/setp with the original harddrive. I had to change some BIOS setting to allow the old harddrive to boot but it works.

What I want to know is two things:

Can the original HDD now be installed anywhere with windows 10 without the BIOS that's in the new laptop?

Will my old drive be overwritten and treated as a new drive?

The old HDD should work but, you'll need to install drivers for the new laptop.

Windows will probably see that it's in a new machine so it will try to get things sorted for you just have internet plugged into the laptop.

The HDD that came from the new laptop will work in any system but, it's probably not gonna be activated anymore.
