Hades first build

This was my sons first build inspired completely by PC SIMULATOR and the guy at Linus.  This build would not have been possible without the wealth of information from linus and the incredible help from the PC community in general.

The build is completely off craigslist except for the drives and works wonderfully...

2 sticks of ddr4 4gb patriot ram

I5 CPU 

radeon hd 7850 GPU

600w evga psu

500gb WD blue ssd

1tb WD blue hdd

Cosair carbide spec 2 case

Which i5 did you go with? Is it overclocked?

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I read that as he bout all of the parts from Craigslist, not bout built from Craigslist.

Does it really matter where he got the parts from? I don't see a problem with it. He even said performance is great
