Shiny new NVMe M.2 SSD = no POST sometimes

Noyu

sooo just recently I upgraded my SSD into an NVMe M.2 SSD and the first issue I encounter is that SOMETIMES (especially during cold startups), my system would encounter either of the following issues

  1. no POST - I'd have to force a reboot using the power button, then sometimes #2 happens
  2. M.2 SSD not detected in BIOS

The issue is minor, as it usually gets solved by a few reboots, but it does annoy the heck out of me.

Is this a board issue or an SSD issue? I'm not sure how to prove which is which and how to request a replacement, if ever.

PSU issue maybe?

Make sure you don't have a drive plugged into the SATA 1.
