The 970 evo is the newer version of the 960 and out performs it, the PRO is the best version of either drive, as it will last longer and is again slightly faster.

960 evo vs 970 evo vs pro there are many in there which samsung is best ??

If you can't think of a reason why you would need the pro, just get the regular EVO. The 970 is the best option at performance and price.

970 evo should be cheaper right now, they were cheaper when i bought mine a couple weeks ago , the 960 is older, so 970 is better performance

Go for the 970 then. It's newer and will give you better speeds.

Also don't go for the Kingston SSD. The Samsung ones are way better.

its a more professional product like a quadro, the 970 evo is more budget consumer product, so the market for the 970 pro 250 gb wouldnt really exist too much, and the difference between the two (250 gb 970 evo and 970 pro)  wouldnt affect a normal consumer so the cheaper would probably have sold more

Except for the high prices. Many cheaper alternatives nowadays (eg SX8200 Pro, EX950)

Crucial make pretty nice drives. I got my MX500 250GB for £36.99 and it works flawlessly.

yeah, unless youre doing some stuff that needs that high samsung performance, a crucial drive can be great,  i only really got the 970 evo for smoother work flow in premiere , sata ssd like boot times or load times in games wont change with nvme
