are these normal results for f@h?

Go to solution Solved by RollinLower,

Yep, you're getting around 800k PPD, that's pretty much what a 1070Ti should give you.

are these normal results for folding on this hardware? or is there something I should change?

Could you take a screenshot of the Advanced settings page? Right click the F@H icon in the bottom right system tray (assuming you are on W10).

I am not familiar with the Web Controller but 66k PPD might just be for your CPU because a 1070Ti should be getting aroung 800k-900k PPD. Source

Are you using a passcode to get the bonus points? I am folding with CPU and cheap (super cheap GT710) and getting 61kppd

I would expect it to run better on your system. What is the CPU specs?

Make sure to sign up for they Passkey to get extra bonus points. It might take a day for that to kick in, and after that, the 1070ti alone should be above 800k PPD

Full advanced shots look much better, nice folding rig ?

yeah... it's not a folding rig. It's actually my gaming pc, but I wanted to try some folding with it.

but it actually does really good. I tried my laptop at school too before this, it had like a 150 per hour folding stat...

we'll see what I'll rank to

at ltt they gave away gpus

at evga they're giving 5 dollar "coins" you can spend at their webshop

and there is some kind of a cryptocurrency too

but in the end it's donating

Some people do, mostly donating, and bragging rights. I use mine for folding when i am not using it for work. you can set the ustilisation so that it only uses left over cycles etc.

A lot of people do run their rigs 24/7 obviously higher temps etc will reduce the life of components. so keep it cool and make sure it's stable. Just check in on it every so often. obviously blah blah fire risk yadda yadda lol.

welp, while i'm here i migh aswell jump on the bandwagon:

i'm folding on the 1070 24/7 (bought it specifically for the LTT Folding Month ? ) and the Titan folds when i'm not gaming on it, which is about 99% of the time.

CPU: not actually folding

1070: 56C

Titan X: 55C

i'd say those are pretty good temps for a small formfactor Threadripper rig!
