I would like a somewhat budget low-range gaming laptop around $800 to replace my aging dell inspiron E6320.

I would too.

Are you asking us to find one for you?

Location? Usage? Any preference on weight and battery life?

It must weigh between one and five thousand pounds

It must have a battery

Just some ballpark guesses

You don't have to go 'low end gaming' if you don't mind weight and battery life, for around $800 you can get something with 1050TI like these:

CyberpowerPC Tracer III 15-100 (TongFang GI5CN5E) - low sRGB IPS

Dell G5 (8300H+1050TI) - low sRGB IPS

HP Omen 15-dc0010nr - low sRGB IPS

Lenovo Legion Y530 customzie (8300H+1050TI) - low sRGB IPS (default panel), might need SSD upgrade

Eluktronics NB50TK1 (Clevo NB50TK1) - low sRGB IPS

Look for the Dell G3 or Acer Nitro 5. There are Linustechtips videos on both of them.

Go for a Dell G3 with a i7 and GTX 1060.  Should be great for your use case.  Screen isn't very colour accurate or bright but is fine for gaming.  and it is £1000 just fitting into your budget

1000 £ is much different than 1000 $
