yes you can, but why would you want to when you can get a decent motor and control its speed.

just take out the motor, but it's really small so it can't handle much weight

WOULD BE WAY EASIER to repurpose a computer fan. just glue a cardboard sheet or cd case on top of blades on axle and control speed by adjusting voltage ... 4v ..13v

why mess with 5400+ rpm motors...

most fans will run with 5v but slow, maybe with a bit of initial push to beat friction, inertia

usb pinout is simple : http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/usb-connector-pinout

5v = red wire, ground = black

fan connector is standardized : https://allpinouts.org/pinouts/connectors/motherboards/motherboard-cpu-3-pin-fan-connector/

you can make 12v from 5v using a boost or "step-up" regulator, but it requires buying parts and unless you have local stores, can't make it in a day.

I'd say just find a 7.5v or 9v or 12v power adapter with barrel jack from something (old switch, router, maybe shaving kits, power drill charger etc)
