My display journey is finally over!

YellowJersey

So this is probably my fourth post about monitors, but I finally found one that seems to meet my (unreasonable?) standards!

After going through 2 Asus, 3 BenQs, and 2 LGs (probably more?), I have finally got one without any defects: a Samsung C34J791 QLED. The left and right edges of the screen look a little dark, but that seems to be more of a viewing angle thing since it's a VA panel, as just shifting over a little evens it out.

Finally, no weird colour tones! I think I can live with this.

I've been told QLED isn't the best for photo editing, but it also seems a good calibration can't sort out.

Thanks for everyone's help over this five month search.

How much did it cost you? I found the same one for 600 EUR https://www.currys.ie/ieen/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/samsung-c34j791-quad-hd-34-curved-led-monitor-white-silver-10181380-pdt.html

Would that be considered a good price for this beast?

I paid $1,000 CAD. It was on sale, reduced from $1,250 CAD
