SSHD died? Help!

Raee

I recently bought a laptop that didn't have a lot of space, so I bought an SSHD for my laptop. I've only had the laptop for about a week and it worked ok. I heard a sound that felt odd, not sure how to describe it, so here. I thought I might have installed it incorrectly, so I went and tried to open the laptop up and reconnect it. Bad idea, because now my laptop won't even register the hard drive and it still makes that noise. What do I do? :(

RMA. Bad drive. It happens. If you want data off of it, use something like this https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-2-5-Inch-Adapter-Optimized-EC-SSHD/dp/B011M8YACM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545883675&sr=8-3&keywords=2.5+inch+to+usb+3 and try attaching it as external drive and see if it detects. If not you're out of luck. Pretty sure you can RMA the drive.
