flashing top bar shadow

That's a browser bug I'm afraid - we're not doing anything weird with the shadow, just using the browser shadow functionality.

if I scroll down, the shadow of the top bar will rapidly flash over parts of the site that are grey. it strangely doesn't show up in screen recordings.

this only happens using the dark theme.

it happens on both Chrome and Safari.

as I said before it doesn't show up on screen recordings for some reason, but if I record my display with my iPhone it does show up...

does it happen on chrome?

you can't test Safari.. but Safari is the worst. on chrome it's less noticeable.

I don't have Chrome installed on anything, so I can't speak for that unfortunately.

ok I installed Firefox and it's still there, but it's so faint I almost can't see it.
