I'll go first: "Just buy a pair of 60 quid beats"

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

 

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

My pet peeve is when people spell it "Mike" instead of "mic"

 

I've also heard "Yamaha is like the Apple of mixers. Just get a Mackie or Presonus"

I sometimes get people telling me, in reference to our mics "Why would I want a good mic? I'm not the one hearing it."

Whenever someone starts talking about DSD.

 

Also when I see someone talking shit about iPhone audio dongle. 0.6 ohm impedance, basically the best there is for BA IEM. Dont even need a DAP

I just see this quote as pure snobbery. The  60 quid beats earphones are more than fine. They don’t sound like tinny treble bazookas unlike most cheap earphones... 

 

My most hated quote is basically « I have these really expensive headphones but these (overrated) earphones from China that cost 15 quid get more listenening time »

 

no. Superlux/KZ earphones are awful.

Personally they sound like they're over driving bass and it makes everything too boomy. I can't stand how they sound personally.
