Hyper 212 evo + i7 9700k

Z10DAS

Hi all,

Was just wondering if the hyper 212 evo will be good enough for the i7 9700k, I won't be doing any overclocking. So was just wondering if it will be good enough for stock speeds.

I mainly game and do some light photoshop.

Thanks

If you're not overclocking it will be fine, but honestly I'd still get a better one just in case you do in the future.

I can almost guarantee you'll want to

I have the 212 already from my old built, I might look into overclocking in the future. Plan to upgrade the cooler when i do

Thanks for your reply

How's the Noctua nh-d15s? Would that be fine for some light overclocking?

Would it be compatible with the RAM and case I have?

Case: NZXT H440

RAM: Gskill Ripjaw V Series 8x2

Yeah, only the fan hangs over ram slots (on ATX and MATX motherboards), and can also be adjusted in height.

D15 is overkill. U14S is more suitable. Or any other 140mm tower, or even premium 120mm. There are also better budget coolers than 212.
