5pinned tabs (YT, Reddit, LTT, Google drive for some reason, Canvas) and 10 tabs opened for research purposes for my historical essay. usually its those 5 pinned tabs and maybe like 2 others

I get that out of my Ubuntu laptop running a 3.2 GHz Ivy bridge/6GB RAM, i5/4GB Surface Pro 4 (when power saving features are disabled), and i3 Alienware Alpha R1.

 

All dual core, all with less than 8GB of RAM. Two running Windows, one Ubuntu. It's not impressive if an install isn't bogged down with half a disk of shitware that's constantly running.

Chrome with 8 tabs consume less than 1GB RAM.

57 tabs on my school laptop atm, was 100 a coupple days ago but that dosnt play nice with office programs and kills it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I use bookmarks. Right now I have 7 tabs open. Sometimes I'll have wayy more if I want to watch a ton of youtube videos in one sitting.
