I can't screenshot mine right now because it's for work... but right now I have 15 tabs open.

One of my coworkers thinks it's abnormal to have so many open.

I don't agree with him... I've seen plenty of people with more tabs open than what I have open right now. But maybe I'm wrong...

I don't count them... firefox's pretty good about tabs and memory used ... probably have around 40 tabs opened and around 5 GB of memory used by Firefox

I usually don't have more than 2 open at a time, but it really depends on what I'm doing.

but for work its not uncommon for me to have 5-10 tabs open, and 10-15 non-browser applications.

I have 22 open right now but I'm doing a school project, I usually have about 12-15 open.

using google chrome and 4 tabs open (gmail, wiki, ltt, whatsapp) 660 mb ram lol...

Doesn't do me much good when I have multiple items that require a sign on every single time. So atm I dedicate my IE to security tools and other work related items, then I use firefox for personal browsing, LTT, and researching stuff for work. I use IE for work stuff because some of the tools don't play nice with other browsers.

I create folders in bookmark sections and sort bookmarks.

So if I do research, say a school paper (when I was a student), I would bookmark all interested sources. This allowed me to not panic when a tab has been accidentally closed, and I quickly get my sources to past in Office Bibliography feature, and have Office auto-generate my work cited.

Just closed a bunch of them. I keep a set of pinned tabs and then some that I rotate out (as in close when I am done)
