Best possible cooling solution for MasterBox lite 3.1

paszi95

Hey guy!

I have a masterbox lite 3.1 case and I already have a system installed in it. Specs are the following:

Ryzen 5 2600

Asrock b450m pro4

Asus gtx1060 6gb

Pure power 10 500w

Hyperx fury black 2x8gb 3200mhz ram

MasterBox lite 3.1 case

The cases fan options are limited. There is 1 rear mount for a 120mm fan and at the front theres room for 2 120mm fans or a 240mm AIO.

I have 3 options.

I buy 3 case fans and an air cooler for the processor

I buy a 240mm AIO and mount on the front as intake and i use a 120mm fan on the rear side as exhaust.

Or I buy a 120mm AIO on the rear side and put 2 120mm fans on the front side.

How would I get better temps both on processor and system side?

120mm AIO is waste of money. The rest is more about which component you want to be cool or is it acceptable to have higher temps on CPU with CPU being cooler one. AIO at front will help to keep CPU cool, but since you are bringing hotter air in, GPU will be hotter than what it would in normally air cooled system. With just fans you keep GPU in order. Now, in normal ATX case you wouldn't have to think any further as air cooling is superior when you have limited mounting options for AIO. But in your situation you have limits. Which is 158mm for air cooler. This is quite big thing as many of better coolers are taller than that. There are very good coolers that fit under the limit. But not many can even compete with better dual-rads.

So question is, do you want to have really well cooled CPU and bit toastier GPU. Or normal GPU with bit limited OC capabilities on CPU.

Are you currently just using the single stock case fan for system cooling?

What are your temps? Where are you shopping / located? Budget?
