Samsung Q7FN - Terrible performance with subtitles

Wanted to draw your attention to a very poor performance of Samsung Q7FN in dark HDR scenes combined with bright subtitles.

This TV is being highly ranked in web reviews and I think this drawback by itself should bring the TV rank down considerably. If you use subtitles you should avoid this TV!

Take a look at a video I captured. Totally unacceptable: https://youtu.be/LxpsTIfBP8Q

Note: no ECO options were turned on. Changing the local dimmer from high to low doesn't affect this. Actually, there was no single setting that caused this to be less aggressive.

Wow wth.

But like the others in your comment section already suggested, return that thing. Can believe Samsung sells something like this at that price point. Go get an LG Oled instead.

I returned, but couldn't get a refund, so I had to buy another Samsung TV. I took the Q9FN. The problem is there as well, less aggressive, but definitely there. I'm posting this in order to warn people from blindly following online reviews that ignore this issue. And I also hope that Samsung will eventually respond on this, cause they don't.
